How important you are...

This blog is dedicated to empowering women
from all walks of life.
I must confess it is very exciting for an
individual with a background like mine to finally have a voice and
talk to other women.
Firstly, just know your value and that you
are so important, a household without you is very evident.The scent
of your perfume on your boyfriend/husband or on your child's
clothes will forever remain...
Speaking about clothes we had a very cold
winter in the Eastern Cape, It reminded me of a mother’s warm love,
her warm cooking  oh and trust me we've all been fed once
in a while that traditional awkwardly tasting soup, just to keep us
warm.
I also bear in mind the so many jackets and
jerseys I had to put on before leaving  my home, all courtesy
of either Grandma, Aunt or Mommy, not forgetting the stockings that
go on for days just to make sure that my little legs were kept
“indoors”.

Women bear almost all
responsibility for meeting basic needs of the family, yet are
systematically denied the resources, information and freedom of
action they need to fulfill this responsibility. Studies show that when women are
supported and empowered, all of society benefits.Their families are
healthier, more children go to school, agricultural productivity
improves and incomes increase. In short, communities become more
resilient. - the

I am inspired by such life experiences
especially:  when I see a woman selling at the street corner
regardless if it is as cold as ice, just to put food on her baby’s
stomach. Women have value in any situation we need more of the
conquers because, I and the rest of my generation live up to be
like them.
If you allow yourself to breath into the
depth, wonder, beauty,craziness and strife,everything that
represents the fullness of your life, you can live fearlessly.
Because you come to realize that if you just keep breathing, you
cannot be conquered-Oprah Winfrey.


Now that Spring has arrived its time for you to shine in every aspect, show forth your beauty, it does not matter your shape or your size, women are beautifully and carefully built it was for a purpose that you look like that never doubt that, let them talk, let them laugh, let them mock you but be sure about one thing you are beautiful!

Girls of all kinds can be beautiful – from the thin, plus-sized, short, very tall, ebony to porcelain-skinned; the quirky, clumsy, shy, outgoing and all in between. It’s not easy though because many people still put beauty into a confining, narrow box…Think outside of the box…Pledge that you will look in the mirror and find the unique beauty in you. Tyra Banks
