I AM A WOMAN BY ALIAS DIAZ

I am a woman
I am weak, I am strong
I am quiet, I am loud
I am a woman

I cry tears that no one sees
I laugh laughs no one hears
I scream when I am silent
I am a woman

I care when no one cares
I listen when no one listens
I have rough edges that need to be smoothed out with love
I am a woman

I give my feelings to whoever will take them
I act like I love when I don't
I act like I don't care when I do
I am a woman

But whether I live
love, laugh cry or Hate
I am a woman
I am strong
I will always be woman

Such insightful words- I relate with the part that says I cry tears that no one sees, we women a have deep scars that we hide under our beautiful clothes...

We are screaming inside but no one hears us not because they are not listening but because we chose not to bother them...

Only pillows know our tears....

Sometimes we don’t get enough attention, as a result whoever receives our feelings we ourselves at them, hence sometimes we are called painful names, nobody understands a woman except a Woman!

We are strong human being...men with wombs...

By Maya Angelou 1928–2014 Maya Angelou

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I’m telling lies.
I say,
It’s in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It’s the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.

Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.
Maya Angelou said it all, in one word we are Phenomenal!
I love the part where she says we it’s the fir in my eyes and the flash in my teeth.
I can imagine any woman walking into a place that is filled with men, the joy she brings just by smiling,,,
without having to say one word, the confidence in the steps she take the swing in her waist,,
what an extraordinary thing a woman is Phenomenal that’s the word to describe her!
